Teaching Assistant

Diocese of Leeds - Bradford M.D.C Mixed 11 – 18 Catholic Comprehensive School Band 6 Point 8 (£18,124) permanent 30 hours per week term time only plus 5 days. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants to join our existing team of highly skilled staff within the Holy Family Catholic School. The SEN Team is at an exciting stage in its development and looking to grow the existing team of experienced teaching assistants. New team members will contribute to creating a model of good practice based around the school’s virtues including Kindness, Confidence, and Hope. Applicants should hold GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics and should have some basic ICT skills. Relevant additional qualifications and experience would be an advantage but are not essential. This post is ideal for a patient, calm, resilient, and flexible individual who is passionate about sustainably improving standards and outcomes for students with a range of SEND. We expect the successful candidate to demonstrate a visible commitment to the wider school mission of ensuring that we ‘awaken minds’, ‘achieve dreams’ and ‘serve others’.
