The Clare School is looking to appoint a part-time teacher to join our team for a fixed term 1 year contract, with the potential to be extended subject to funding.
You do not need to have any complex needs teaching experience – we are looking for a person who is enthusiastic, kind and is passionate about helping our pupils to succeed.
Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs. This post will require someone who aspires for every pupil they teach to reach their full potential and to support every individual to become as independent as possible.
This post will also need someone who will assess, plan and respond to each child’s individual learning needs and interests. We are passionate about recording the progress our pupils make, maintaining up-to-date records that are meaningful for individual pupils and their families.
It is essential that you can facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with a highly stimulating environment, that motivates engagement and challenges understanding. We must ensure that every pupil has the chance to use their individual strengths to make the most of every learning opportunity.
The Clare School is an ‘outstanding’ school, and this is a fantastic opportunity to work within this exciting and vibrant community.
