Are you an ambitious teacher ready to change how students experience their first year of secondary school? We are looking for an exceptional practitioner to join our team at Magna Academy and help spearhead an innovative new educational model. This is a unique role designed to ease the transition from primary school, helping our Year 7's build a deep sense of belonging from day one. By creating a stable, supportive environment, you will play a key role in maintaining our student attendance, which is already well above the national average. Instead of moving between multiple classrooms, our Year 7 students will spend a core part of their day with you. As their dedicated tutor, you will deliver an integrated curriculum covering English, Maths, Humanities and Personal Development & Wellbeing. You will bring your own subject specialism to the team, but you will also be adaptable enough to teach across these core areas. You won't be working in isolation—you will have dedicated, built-in time to collaborate with a team of teachers to co-create high-quality resources and curriculum plans.
