The RoleThis is primarily a Secondary School teaching role, delivering exceptional teaching and learning in Spanish across KS3, IGCSE and, where appropriate, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). The role also includes teaching Spanish to students in Years 5 and 6 (KS2), supporting continuity and progression in language learning across the transition into Secondary. The successful candidate will inspire a love of languages and cultures, develop students’ confidence and fluency, and contribute to a vibrant and internationally minded school community. The ability to teach an additional subject would be highly desirable and would be considered a significant advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering Excellence in Spanish and Modern Languages EducationPlan and deliver high-quality, engaging and differentiated lessons in Spanish, catering to a wide range of abilities, backgrounds and levels of prior language experience.
Teach Spanish across Years 5 and 6 (KS2), KS3 and IGCSE, with the ability to contribute to IBDP language provision where appropriate.
