This is a part-time, term-time, self-employed position at Alleyn’s School in Dulwich, South London. We are seeking a Visiting Music Teacher (VMT). We anticipate two days of teaching per week, depending on the availability of the successful candidate and
incoming requests for lessons in September.
The successful candidate will inspire and motivate pupils through engaging individual singing lessons. They will teach students from beginner to advanced level across Years 7 to 13 (ages 11 to 18).
What we're looking for:
A recognised music degree or equivalent professional qualification in vocal performance.
Proven track record as a performer and/or teacher, ideally in a senior school setting.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners with varied abilities and levels of confidence.
Strong lesson-planning and organisational skills, including record-keeping and timetable management.
