Come and teach Science in a school where students and parents are passionate about their children doing well in Science, and help shape and develop both staff and students alike in terms of their pedagogy and science literacy.
Here at St Bonaventure’s we look after and nurture our staff looking to develop them through department specific CPDs and manage teacher workload by ensuring that a plethora of shared resources are available to aid delivery of the curriculum. We have a focus on pedagogy; focussed on research and the best practice to aid the attainment of our students.
We are looking for an Teacher of Physics who will aide the development of pedagogy, teaching & learning and attainment in the Science Department.
The ability to teach Physics at KS5 is essential as well as KS3 and KS4 science in all specialisms.

To teach the analytical, observational, conversational, and critical thinking skills applicable not only in Science but transferable to all other subjects in the school.
To foster a love for the subject, promoting learning in a structured and creative environment
To continuously challenge students to achieve their full potential in aiming to master topics.
To enrich students learning with science with clubs, trips and opportunities that stretch beyond just the classroom.
To continually develop our modelling of key concepts, information and more as a curriculum team.
The Science team teaches the full range of ability for pupils aged 11 to 18. Students sit exams following the AQA Exam Board at GCSE, and Edexcel Exam
