Post Title: Teacher of Science Responsible to: Headteacher Location: St. Cuthberts Roman Catholic High School Salary: MPS - UPS Term of Contract:Permanent Hours per week: 32.5 hours per week Start date: September 2026 Closing date: Sunday, 7th June 2026 St. Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic High School are currently seeking a Teacher of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science teaching across the relevant key stages, supporting pupils in developing their knowledge and understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing and tracking pupil progress, and maintaining high expectations of achievement and behaviour. The post holder will fulfil the professional duties of a School Teacher as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, contribute positively to the Catholic life and mission of the school, and support pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
