About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for inspiring young people. The successful candidate will join our dynamic and highly successful Religious Studies department, which, from September, will benefit from increased curriculum time. The department is well known for its popularity and consistently excellent outcomes, with a significant number of students choosing to continue Religious Studies at both GCSE and A level. Students benefit from a rich and engaging curriculum, enhanced by a wide range of trips and visits, including local places of worship, as well as opportunities to visit London and travel abroad. The post also includes teaching a small allocation of BTEC Criminology. Previous experience in this subject is not required, as full training will be provided. We are a large and highly accomplished centre of excellence, firmly rooted in its local community. Examination results are exemplary and compare favourably with other schools, both locally and nationally at GCSE and A Level. We are a cohesive and ambitious school, excited about the future of education and determined to develop. If you are a committed, resilient and creative person, capable of making a positive contribution to our school and inspire both students and staff, then this could be the post for you. The successful candidate will share the ambitions, ethos and values of Yateley School.
