Position Overview: We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Teacher of Psychology to join our motivated and dedicated team for a three-month temporary maternity cover basis from mid-August - end of October 2026.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a commitment to the holistic education of children and will be an excellent team player committed to the ethos, values and aims of the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
A recognised degree in Psychology or a related area from an accredited university, and a PGCE, QTS, H.Dip.Ed in Psychology, or other internationally recognised teaching qualification.
At least three years’ experience teaching Psychology at A-level.
Model excellent practice in the classroom; preferably externally verified.
Have a secure knowledge and understanding of excellent practice in teaching, learning, and the effective use of assessment to improve learning and use data effectively.
Be able to demonstrate the impact of teaching on the progress of individual groups and cohorts of children.
