About this role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of A-Level Psychology to join our busy and flourishing senior school. The successful candidate will teach across Years 12-13, for which we deliver the AQA specification. Experience of teaching Psychology for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme would be advantageous.
This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers, for whom Taunton School runs an extensive programme of support.
The Head of Department is experienced, efficient and supportive; will help the successful candidate’s continued professional development; and encourages exciting new teaching methods whilst maintaining high standards of delivery. The subject is popular with students, and the department is characterised by enjoyment of, and enthusiastic engagement in, learning and academic achievement.
