Are you a Politics teacher with a genuine passion for academic challenge, debate and current affairs? Oakham School is looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic Teacher of Politics to join a thriving and highly collaborative department with an excellent track record of academic success and a commitment to fostering a love of the subject. The successful candidate will teach A Level Politics (Edexcel), with opportunities to contribute to IB Global Politics and GCSE Citizenship Studies (OCR), depending on experience and interest. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers and trainees alike. Above all, we are looking for an individual with a strong passion for Politics, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to inspire and challenge pupils to think critically and engage confidently with the world around them. Beyond the classroom, you will play a full part in the life of the School through a tutor role and involvement in our extensive co-curricular and extra-curricular programme.
