Sancton Wood School is a successful and thriving independent school in the heart of Cambridge. We are pleased to invite applications to join our developing Physical Education team in our School as a self motivated and enthusiatic Teacher of Physical Education from September 2026, teaching years 7 to 11. Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers. The Role: Teach Physical Education from Early Years to Y11 Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote participation and progress To ideally have experience of teaching hockey and netball Contribute to extracurricular sport, fixtures and enrichment activities Monitor and support students’ progress to ensure excellent outcomes Play an active role in the pastoral and academic life of the school Commit to students’ learning and progress Place students’ quality of learning at the centre of their work Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life Our Ethos Our school offers small teaching classes and our focus on pastoral care and commitment to developing outstanding relationships with our students and their families ultimately lead to our good academic outcomes.
