We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to be second in charge in our PE department. Position: Physical Education (PE) Seond in Charge Education Stage: Secondary School Curriculum: United Kingdom Minimum Experience: 3 years Position Type: Teacher and Second in Charge Key Responsibilities: - Support the Head of Department in managing and developing the PE department ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. - Promote physical health, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. - Support staff professional development within the department. - Organise extracurricular activities including sports teams, competitions, and events. Skills and Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level KS3-5. - Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for PE as well as current best practices in physical education pedagogy. - Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage resources effectively. - Ability to motivate both staff and students towards achieving excellence in sport & physical activity.
