The Royal Alexandra & Albert School is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted, April 2024), where our boarding provision was recently judged as ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted, 2025). The inspectors highlighted that our “students are making significant progress,” noting they are “supported through a culture of high expectation, helping them to achieve the best they can.” We are a lively and purposeful co-educational, comprehensive state boarding school for children aged 7 to 18 years, with approximately 700 flexi-boarders and 300 full boarders. We are looking for a teacher who can provide highly effective and innovative teaching of PE across all levels Key Stage 3, 4, 5 to ensure that all our pupils make excellent progress and inspire students to have a passion for the subject. We are open to full time, part time or flexible working hours. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed. A specialism in swimming or rugby would also be considered favourably, however we are genuinely open to applications from all candidates, regardless of specialism. Please be aware we offer a whole school Enrichment programme 30 Saturday mornings a year (9am - 11.30am) and contributing to this is a non-negotiable part of the role. In return, the school breaks for the summer holidays in ear
