About this role
Teacher of PE
Full or part Time
Start date: September 2026
Salary: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (Suitable for ECTs)
PE is a vital part of a young person’s educational provision – the chance to lead a healthy lifestyle and understand how this impacts on you and others around you; the chance to learn and enjoy new disciplines, and the chance to excel on the field.
An opportunity has arisen to teach PE here at Liphook – a school with one of the strongest reputations, locally and nationally, for sporting excellence.
In addition to amazing colleagues and curious and engaged students, we offer 3 Sports Halls, a sand based astro and 3G astro, extensive fields, hard courts for tennis and netball, not to mention a huge co-curricular and fixtures offer.
In addition, we need you to be willing and able to teach dance or drama. We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge to join our excellent and supportive team. We wish to appoint an individual who is or has the potential to be an outstanding practitioner and has the necessary skills, attributes and passion to create a love of learning.
Are you able to:
• Inspire and innovate?
• Nurture and develop (yourself as well as others)?
• Commit to, and raise further, high achievement and motivation?
• Optimise learning for all?
Then come and see us. We are looking for potential as much as experience so we welcome applications from ITTs. Here’s just a few reasons this could be the role for you:
• Our greatest strength is our people and we work hard to make sure you know that. Wellbeing is central to all we do – we have dedicated wellbeing days for staff, early finishes for you to take the time you need, and this year we successfully trialled a two-week autumn break in the busiest of times
• Our students are exceptional – bright, inquisitive, respectful and diligent and they provide an environment where you can teach and realise your potential, as well as theirs
• Not to mention
