Applicants should be willing to teach a wide range of sports, be dedicated, enthusiastic and creative. The successful candidate will be energetic, dynamic and be able to thrive independently and as part of a team. They will be a flexible, team player, committed to supporting departmental colleagues and they will readily contribute to the wider life of the department and school through extra-curricular clubs and fixtures. Experience of teaching examination PE would be desirable (KS4/5). Able to inspire students through passion for PE, high standards and a strong extra-curricular programme. PE courses are popular at the school and we offer GCSE PE or BTEC Sport at KS4 which leads on to the Extended Diploma in Sport or Certificate options in KS5. The department has an outstanding reputation for sports leadership and students have the opportunity to complete the Community and Higher Sports Leader Awards in Years 12/13. We also run a bespoke and comprehensive Sports’ Leaders award for pupils in years 7-11. This post would suit both an ECT at the beginning of their teaching journey or an established teacher ready to take on new opportunities, and as your professional development is important to us, we offer a comprehensive package of
