Teacher of P.E. part time 0.55 FTE

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic female Teacher of Physical Education (0.55 FTE) to join our P E department. This role focuses on delivering engaging Key Stage 3 & 4 PE lessons that inspire students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and overall well-being and also lead extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, fixtures and events. Position: Teacher of P.E. 0.55 FTE Department: Health and Physical Education Education Stage: Secondary (Key Stage 3,and 4) Experience: No previous experience required Skills and Qualifications: - A relevant degree or qualification in Physical Education or related subject - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate young learners - Ability to plan effective lessons tailored to diverse student needs at Key Stage 3 and 4 levels - Basic knowledge of health, fitness, sports rules, and safety procedures - Expectation to lead extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, fixtures and events Values and Attitudes: - Commitment to promoting positive attitudes towards health, fitness, and teamwork among students - Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive environment where all pupils feel valued and supported - Dedication to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice - Alignment with Our Lady’s Catholic College’s ethos of respect, compassion, integrity, and community spirit If you are eager to start your teaching career within a supportive school community that values personal growth alongside academic achievement, we would love to hear from you.
