A Level Music (Eduqas) & BTEC Music Performance (Pearson)
· Salary: £171.62 to £265.20 per day (depending on experience, based on full-time working and pro-rated for part days)
Equivalent to Points 1–9 of the Sixth Form Colleges’ Teacher Pay Scale (£33,465–£51,714 FTE)
· Contract: Supply (Fixed term: 24 August 2026 – 31 December 2026)
· Hours: Full-time preferred, but job share considered
· Pension: Teachers’ Pension Scheme

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Music (Supply) to join our successful Music department from 24 August 2026 to 31 December 2026.
Our Priority: Excellence in A Level Music Teaching
Our primary priority is securing an outstanding teacher for A Level Music (Eduqas). This role requires a candidate with strong academic subject knowledge, ideally an academic music graduate with the expertise and confidence to teach advanced musical concepts and prepare students for success at A Level.
The role also includes teaching BTEC Music Performance (Pearson). However, while experience in this area would be welcomed, it is not essential, as we can provide support and guidance for the right candidate.
We are also open to job share arrangements and would be very interested in hearing from candidates who may wish to teach only one of the two specifications—whether that is A Level Music or BTEC Music Performance.
