About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our thriving Music department at Haberdashers’ Hatcham College. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate classroom practitioner to teach engaging and creative Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 courses including RSL and A-Level Music. Our Music curriculum is broad, ambitious, and highly valued by students, with strong uptake at both GCSE and BTEC level.
Music plays a central role in college life, with students benefiting from a rich programme of ensembles, concerts, trips, workshops, and over 400 peripatetic lessons each week. The successful candidate will contribute to both the curricular and co-curricular life of the department, supporting performances, events, and wider musical opportunities that inspire students of all abilities to develop their confidence, creativity, and love of music.
