About the Department
Music is a vital subject in the performing arts faculty and as such they play a huge role in the school. We ensure there are plentiful opportunities for students to engage in music whether that is through the curriculum via expert teaching or through showcase opportunities such as: school productions, summer concerts and enrichment opportunities. We have put a deal of investment into equipment to ensure that music teachers have access to what they need to create a vibrant and exciting curriculum. Being part of a large Trust also enables music teachers to have access to support via shared schemes of learning.
