About this role

We are seeking a highly-motivated and passionate individual to join our Modern Foreign Languages team as a teacher of Spanish at Driffield School and Sixth Form. If successful, you would be working closely with our Subject Leader of Modern Foreign Languages in a friendly and supportive environment with an established team of four teachers. The department delivers Spanish lessons at GCSE and Key Stage 3. We have excellent facilities, with spacious teaching rooms and access to ICT. We are an experienced and aim to promote the highest standards of teaching to inspire and support students of all backgrounds and abilities. In their last visit (February 2025), Ofsted described our school as ‘an inclusive school, where pupils are encouraged to ‘Be Here, Be Yourself and Be Your Best’. They described Driffield students as ‘kind and respectful’ and ‘inquisitive and motivated to do well.’ As a school, we are dedicated to providing a great teacher in every classroom and are committed to high-quality, collective teacher development. This helps us to reduce the replication of effort and helps all teachers to thrive in our setting. We do this by prioritising the continuing development of our staff.
