About this role

The States of Guernsey are looking for a Teacher of MFL to join the team at Les Beaucamps High School. Teachers will work within a curriculum team to support the development of an inclusive, supportive and challenging culture for both staff and students, within a safe and secure environment. The post holder will contribute to the development of a curriculum that challenges students and makes a positive contribution to improving the life chances of young people. Teachers will be expected to work collaboratively with staff in the school and with other staff in schools within the Secondary School Partnership in the pursuit of excellence for all, professional support and continuous improvement. This role comes with a competitive salary and entitlement to a pension scheme. For candidates who would be required to relocate to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, we also offer a relocation package to help with the cost of moving over to the Island. This relocation package offers different solutions depending on an individual’s circumstances. More detailed information can be found in the Relocation Directive below. This role offers off-Island candidates an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit (see details below). This permit will also enable candidates to bring immediate family members with them who will be permitted to work on the Island in any sector.
