Lavington School is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
You will deliver a broad, balanced and engaging mathematics curriculum, planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will inspire and motivate students through a range of effective teaching strategies, helping them to achieve their individual potential and make strong academic progress. You will assess, monitor and report on student performance, using data to inform your teaching and provide targeted support and improvement strategies. You will contribute to the development of schemes of learning and actively participate in departmental collaboration, sharing best practice to raise standards across the subject. You will maintain accurate records, track progress and communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and external stakeholders to support student success. You will engage fully in professional development, appraisal processes and wider school activities, contributing positively to the life of the school community. You will also support whole-school priorities, uphold policies, and play an active role in quality assurance, resource management and continuous improvement across the department.
