About this role
The Teacher of Mathematics will deliver high-quality teaching across the Senior School, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment in which all students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. The role requires a passionate and reflective practitioner who can contribute to a dynamic international school community, uphold high academic standards, and promote a love of mathematics. The successful candidate will play a key role in the curriculum delivery, student progress and the wider life of the school, supporting both academic excellence and student wellbeing. It is expected that the successful candidate will teach at KS3, GCSE and A Level. They will also assume a tutor role in line with all teachers at Claremont. Teachers at Claremont also have opportunities to share their wider interests through a developed co-curricular programme that is integrated into the school week. The successful candidate is to carry out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with Claremont’s policies under the direction of the Principal.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder’s duties will include but not be limited to:
To deliver the appropriate curriculum as outlined by the Head of Faculty.
To contribute to the review, development and management of the Department’s curriculum as required by the Head of Faculty.
To act as a Tutor
