Full time, maternity cover Salary £35,607-£51,396 full-time equivalent (dependent on experience) Start date: Early December 2026 or January 2027 The role We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics to join our highly successful department for a one-year maternity cover from December 2026 or January 2027. It is anticipated that this role will be for a period of 12 months, though as a maternity cover, may be subject to change. The successful candidate will be able to teach Mathematics confidently across the Senior School, including at GCSE and A level. We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as early career teachers who are keen to develop their practice within a strong and supportive department. The Mathematics Department Mathematics has a high profile within the school and an outstanding academic record at GCSE and A level, with strong progression to competitive university courses, including Oxbridge. Both Mathematics and Further Mathematics are popular choices in the Sixth Form. The department comprises eleven full-time and three part-time subject specialists, all of whom share a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics and a commitment to high academic standards.
