Job overview
Are you comfortable with high expectations as well as high levels of enjoyment in your teaching? If so, welcome to #TeamHaringey6.
We are seeking a creative, innovative and highly motivated Teacher of Criminology to teach within our thriving vocational provision. Criminology is a growing and strategically important subject within the college, and we are committed to delivering an ambitious, high‑quality curriculum that supports strong progression, destinations and learner outcomes.
Haringey Sixth Form College has experienced rapid improvement. We have grown student numbers, improved outcomes, and invested significantly in staff development and facilities. The college has now achieved Ofsted ‘Expected’ status across all categories, recognising the substantial improvements secured in the quality of education, leadership and management, and learner experience. This external validation reflects our strong trajectory of improvement and the consistently high expectations we hold for both students and staff.
As our provision continues to expand, there are opportunities for professional growth and progression for colleagues who demonstrate impact, innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Put simply: we exist for our students. Our young people arrive with high aspirations, and we work relentlessly to help them become successful, confident and responsible citizens, a journey already recognised externally through our Ofsted ‘Expected’ status.
What We Are Looking For
We are not a college for cynics. We are achievement‑focused, values‑driven and unapologetically ambitious about the learner experience.
You will:
Deliver consistently strong teaching that secures progress and positive outcomes
