About this role

Immediate Start | Academic Year 2026–2027
Every child should have the opportunity to flourish.
Muscat International School by Amity is seeking an experienced, thoughtful and highly committed Teacher of Inclusion to join our school for an immediate start.
At MIS, inclusion is not simply about providing additional support. It is about knowing our students well, recognising individual strengths and needs, removing barriers to learning, and ensuring that every young person is able to participate fully and confidently in the life of the school.
We are looking for a practitioner who combines professional expertise with warmth, high expectations and a genuine belief in what young people can achieve.
The Role
Working as part of our wider academic and pastoral team, the Teacher of Inclusion will help ensure that students with additional learning needs receive purposeful, carefully planned and appropriately individualised support.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, leaders, students and families to identify needs, develop effective interventions and strengthen inclusive classroom practice across the school.
The role will include:
Supporting the identification, assessment and monitoring of students with additional learning needs.
Planning and delivering targeted interventions and individualised support.
Working alongside classroom teachers to develop effective differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies.
Contributing to individual education and support plans, with clear and measurable outcomes.
Monitoring student progress and using evidence to evaluate the impact of interventions.
Building positive and professional relationships with parents and families.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and, where appropriate, external specialists.
Helping to develop a school culture in which difference is understood, individual strengths are recognised and every student is encouraged to succeed.
