The role will focus on Geography and History, with some teaching of Religious Studies.
Our History curriculum is designed as a coherent five-year journey, building students' chronological knowledge, historical skills and critical thinking. Students explore British and global history while developing their understanding of concepts such as cause and consequence, change and continuity, significance, and historical interpretation.
Our Religious Studies curriculum develops students' knowledge of diverse religions and worldviews alongside their theological, philosophical and ethical thinking. At KS3, students encounter major religious and non-religious worldviews, while KS4 builds towards the Edexcel GCSE, including the study of Christianity and Islam.
Geography provides students with opportunities to explore the physical and human world, understand the relationships between people, places and environments, and develop the knowledge and skills to engage with some of the key challenges facing our world today.
