Felpham Community College is an 11-18 local authority, mixed comprehensive with 1600 students on roll and a successful sixth form. In October 2024 OFSTED confirmed our ‘Good’ status originally achieved in January 2016.
We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities, ideally a History/Geography specialist with a relevant degree, to join our successful Humanities team commencing September 2025.
Applications are most welcome from experienced teachers and suitably qualified ECTs and newly qualified teachers. Applicants must be passionate about both History and Geography and able to teach both at KS3 and possibly either Geography or History to GCSE level. In addition, the successful candidate may be required to teach RPE [Religion, Philosophy and Ethics] at KS3.
As a Gold Unicef Rights Respecting school, a desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to foster a cohesive, inclusive, and positive school environment is also sought.
