Teacher of Health and Social Care

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our school. The ability to teach a second subject would be desirable. Position: Health and Social Care Education Stage: Secondary (Key Stage 4 and 5) Minimum Experience: 3 years Contract: 1 year fixed term Responsibilities include leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Health and Social Care curriculum (Cambridge National Level 2 and Cambridge Technicals Health and Social Care Level 3) ; managing resources; and promoting student engagement through innovative teaching practices. Skills and Qualifications: - Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) - Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level. - Strong knowledge of curriculum requirements - Ability to design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. - Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, staff, parents, and external partners. - Competence in using educational technology tools relevant to food technology teaching.
