This role is based at The Joseph Wright Centre, working within a supportive and established Geography team. Designed to enhance existing provision, the post focuses on providing additional support to students and colleagues, working collaboratively to strengthen learning and contribute to the continued delivery of high-quality A Level Geography.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive Geography team, with a strong focus on enhancing the current provision through collaboration. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will play a key role in supporting students’ learning, helping them to stay engaged, build confidence, and make good progress. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, share best practice, and support the team in delivering high-quality outcomes for all students.

About You
You’ll be an organised and confident Geography specialist with recent experience teaching A Level Geography, including supporting and developing NEA fieldwork. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to engage and motivate students effectively while managing your time and workload efficiently. You’ll hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and be confident in using IT, including MS Office. Experience in post-16 education, exam board specifications, and delivering intervention sessions would be advantageous.

Salary of non-qualified teacher £29,374; qualified teacher £32,922 to £44,218 per annum
