We are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Geography who can provide highly effective and innovative teaching of Geography across the senior school, to ensure that all our pupils make excellent progress and inspire students to have a passion for the subject.
Geography sits within the Humanities Faculty. It is a very popular subject in the Faculty with four classes in Years 10 and 11 and a steady uptake at A Level. There are two designated classrooms, text books for every year, centrally planned lessons in Years 7-11 and an extensive collection of fieldwork equipment. There is a very good ethos of cooperative and supportive working as part of a team both within the Faculty and subject team.
The school’s approach to GCSE leads to an increasing uptake in the 6th form.
