Vanguard School is an inclusive specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 11 to 19. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Food Technology to join our team. This role focuses on delivering Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 and BTEC, helping students develop practical skills and knowledge that prepare them for future careers.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology tailored to our students.
- Develop curriculum materials that meet national standards and support vocational learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, safety, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in Food Technology.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum requirements.
- Ability to design practical lessons that engage diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills with both students and colleagues.
- Competent in using relevant technology and resources within food technology education.
