We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Teacher of English to join our expanding Senior School in August 2026. You will be responsible for teaching English across upper primary and/or senior levels, developing students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills, while inspiring a lifelong love of reading, writing. and literature. This role demands a passion for English, strong classroom management, and the ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective English curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Deliver engaging English lessons that promote reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
Foster critical and creative thinking through literature, drama, and writing activities.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders on student development.
Contribute to extracurricular and cultural activities, such as debate, drama, or creative writing clubs.
Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and educational technologies.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience within an international school environment.
