About this role
RGSPP is seeking an outstanding and committed Teacher of English to deliver high-quality teaching across Secondary Key Stages (KS3, KS4, and KS5), supporting strong academic progress while fostering a love of literature and the performing arts. The ability to teach as second subject, such as Drama or Humanities, is highly desirable. As a founding-phase teacher in our second year, you will play a key role in establishing departmental standards and building the academic and creative rigour required for future IGCSE and A-Level success.
Deliver engaging, well-sequenced English lessons rooted in the British curriculum.
Promote a "founding mindset" by proactively developing resources and performing arts systems where they do not yet exist.
Promote high standards in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Embrace the flexibility to teach across various secondary year groups and potentially related subjects, such as History or ESL, as the school scales.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
A degree in English, Drama, or a closely related field, with the academic profile to teach both subjects across the Secondary phases.
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
Experience teaching English and/or Drama within a British or international curriculum, including IGCSE and/or A-Level.
Experience in a "start-up" or rapidly expanding school environment is highly desirable.
