Teacher of English Full Time 1.0 FTE Salary: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale Required for September 2026 Are you passionate about teaching English? The Trustees are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher of English. The successful candidate would be expected to teach across the age and ability range, up to and including A Level and build on the solid foundations already in place and bring learning to life and inspire our students. The English Department is a thriving and well-resourced department that achieves very good exam results and contributes positively to the wider life of the academy. The Palmer Catholic Academy is a very successful, over-subscribed 11–18 mixed, multi-cultural, voluntary-aided comprehensive Academy in the London Borough of Redbridge. Although a Catholic academy, we welcome applications from Catholic and non-Catholic teachers.
