About this role
Scarborough UTC are looking to appoint a Teacher of Engineering to join our academy in September 2026 if possible, on a part time, permanent basis.
About the role
The role involves teaching KS4 and KS5 learners, delivering OCR Cambridge Nationals, with desirable experience in industry‑standard software such as SolidWorks and certified training in health and safety, workshop skills, or a relevant industry trade.
Scarborough UTC is not a traditional school, we are a college-style environment for students in Year 9–13, designed to mirror the maturity, independence and professional expectations of the workplace. Mentoring from engineers and sector specialists
University-led masterclasses
Visits to partner organisations
