Monk’s Walk is a high‑performing, oversubscribed secondary school seeking to appoint a Teacher of Drama to help raise standards even further. This position is for a one-year fixed term contract to provide maternity cover.
You would be joining a forward-looking, ambitious and supportive department. Drama is a popular option at both GCSE and A Level and outcomes in drama are very good. Extra-curricular provision is strong, and we would be looking to our new colleague to contribute to that provision.

If you would like an informal conversation about the role or wish to visit the school before applying, please contact Nick Haynes, Deputy Headteacher at NHaynes@monkswalk.herts.sch.uk. Nick is the member of SLT with line management responsibility for Drama.
