We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative full-time Drama teacher to cover a period of maternity leave from November 2026 to March 2027.

You will also demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum
A successful track record of teaching Drama to at least GCSE level
The ability to inspire and engage students, fostering a love of learning
Excellent organisational and communication skills
The ability to teach KS3 and/or KS4 English would be advantageous, though not essential.
The RoleDrama is taught across Key Stage 3 and offered as a GCSE option in Years 10 and 11, following the AQA syllabus. At post-16, students can study Literature and Performance within the IB Diploma Programme (Group 1).
For a suitably qualified candidate, there may be the opportunity to take on additional responsibility, attracting a responsibility allowance, for leading an element of the KS3 Drama and/or English curriculum (e.g. monitoring reports, assessments, and data tracking).
