About this role
Overview
To carry out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with Claremont’s policies under the direction of the Principal. This role involves coordinating and teaching drama from Year 3 - Year 8. It also plays a pivotal role as part of the school’s Performing Arts Pathway, leading all drama activities in the Prep School whilst working closely with fellow creative leaders across all sections at Claremont. The drama teacher's role is to develop students’ confidence, creativity and communication skills. They will lead curriculum lessons whilst also developing co-curricular opportunities including school productions and other similar activities.

Key Responsibilities
To deliver the appropriate curriculum as directed for Nursery - Year 8.
To contribute to the review, development and management of the Department’s curriculum as required by the Director of Performing Arts.
