About this role
The British School of Lomé (BSL) is seeking a Teacher of Drama and Theatre to join our dynamic and supportive team. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Drama and Theatre throughout the secondary section. Previous experience of teaching within Cambridge, IGCSE and IBDP curricula would be an advantage.
We are looking for a teacher who has a specialism in teaching the Performing Arts and who is passionate about helping our students achieve their full potential in a well-rounded and stimulating environment. Teaching duties are initially expected to involve teaching Drama / Theatre within the secondary section, as well as assisting with the BSL Co-Curriculum.
We are seeking applicants who are able to commence from August 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. This could be a temporary role, or a longer term role, depending on your profile and experience. There is also the possibility of a Head of Creative and Performing Arts role for a suitably experienced and versatile applicant.

You will be a first language English speaker, and your written and verbal communication skills in English will be excellent. We welcome applicants from Togo and the West African region, as well as from further afield.
