Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Design Technology.
- Support student learning by creating a positive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department to develop curriculum resources.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities related to design technology where possible.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant degree or qualification in Design Technology or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred; however, applications from newly qualified teachers or those working towards QTS will be considered.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Basic knowledge of design technology principles.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop professionally within the role.
