Teacher of Design Technology

Commencing September 2026 or January 2027. Derby High School is seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Design Technology with a forward-thinking approach. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering resistant materials and working with timbers, polymers and metals They will share our passion for developing the work of the department and for sharing good practice, and will play an active role in the School’s extensive and varied co-curricular programme. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong organisational skills and a clear commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. You will combine high expectations with a supportive and collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues to ensure that pupils of all abilities make strong progress.
