We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School
This is a fixed term post for 1 academic term, starting September 2026 until December 2026 (Autumn Term) on Teaching terms MPS-UPS.
Chorlton High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computing to join our forward-thinking and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their knowledge and skills in Computing.
Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver outstanding Computing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, including areas such as programming, digital literacy, and computer science
Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
Has strong subject knowledge in Computing or a related discipline
Is passionate about teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire young people
Demonstrates high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is committed to ongoing professional development
