About this role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, ambitious, and inspirational Teacher of Computer Science to join our dedicated and supportive team in a successful girls’ secondary school with a strong culture of high expectations and achievement. Guided by our motto, “Educating Tomorrow’s Women Today,” we are committed to empowering our students to become confident, independent learners who are well-prepared for the future. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to delivering a broad, balanced, and ambitious curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are well-sequenced and adapted to meet the needs of all learners, enabling pupils to build secure knowledge and make sustained progress over time. You will be passionate about your subject and dedicated to fostering a love of learning, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems, and develop confidence in their digital skills. You will create a calm, purposeful, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and able to succeed. The role requires strong subject and pedagogical knowledge, effective use of assessment to inform teaching, and the ability to provide clear feedback that supports pupil progress. High standards of behaviour management and positive relationships are essential, alongside a firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking school that is dedicated to improving outcomes and raising aspirations. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are reflective practitioners, committed to continuous professional development, and driven to secure the best possible outcomes for all students. In return, we can offer you:  · A caring and happy community that always puts our young people first  · A supportive environment that takes an active interest in you
