Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable foundation, providing a first-class education to around 900 children from all backgrounds and supported by more than 500 members of staff.
We are seeking a part-time Teacher of Classics to join us on a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of “a school like no other” and teach Classical subjects to GCSE, and possibly A Level, students.
We welcome applications from well-qualified graduates with a passion for Classics and the ability to inspire young people. A formal teaching qualification is not essential; we would also be pleased to hear from recent graduates considering a career in teaching or experienced professionals looking for a career change.
The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, subject expertise, and a commitment to high-quality teaching. Creativity, innovation, and the ability to engage pupils both within and beyond the classroom are highly valued. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the wider co-curricular life of the School.
