At Habs Girls, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Classics to join our ambitious and forward-thinking Classics department. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher who wants to share their passion for Latin, Classical Greek and/or Classical Civilisation in a school where academic ambition sits alongside genuine curiosity, creativity and enjoyment of learning.
We are open to both full-time and part-time applications and can offer significant flexibility around the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced classroom teacher looking for a new challenge, an early-career teacher developing your practice, or an experienced Classicist seeking a role that fits around other commitments, we would be very happy to talk to you about what might work.
About the Classics Department
The Classics department at Habs Girls offers a rich and academically ambitious programme of study across Latin, Classical Greek and Classical Civilisation, giving pupils the opportunity to explore the languages, literature, history, mythology, art and cultures of the ancient world and to understand their enduring influence on the world around us.
