About this role
RGSPP is seeking an outstanding and committed Teacher of Chemistry to deliver high-quality teaching across Secondary Key Stages. As a founding-phase teacher in our second year, you will be essential in establishing the chemical safety protocols, managing specialized resources, and building the academic rigour required for students to achieve at the highest international standards.
Deliver engaging, enquiry-based Chemistry lessons rooted in the British curriculum.
Lead the development of the IGCSE and International AS/A Level Chemistry pathways.
Promote a "founding mindset" by helping to establish a high-functioning laboratory environment.
Embrace the flexibility to teach General Science at KS3 and a Biology or Physics at IGCSE.
Embody RGSPP’s framework of Discovery, Opportunity, Values and Excellence (DOVE).
Essential Qualifications & Experience
A degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field.
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
Proven experience teaching IGCSE and International AS/A Level Chemistry with a track record of high student achievement.
Strong understanding of laboratory health and safety standards and chemical management.
Experience in a "start-up" or rapidly expanding school environment is highly desirable.
Recently qualified teachers will be considered for this role. RGSPP provides full induction, mentoring and a timetable reduction to support those in training or new to the profession.
