The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Science department of Smestow Academy. Our Science Department is at the centre of the curriculum at Smestow Academy. We have a dynamic and forward-thinking team dedicated to fostering critical thinking, communication and collaboration with an ambitious and inclusive curriculum. The department has an innate passion for their subject, which is reflected in their teaching and students’ attitude to learning in lessons. The Science department is thriving, where student progress at GCSE and A Level has been well above national averages for many years with disadvantaged students’ outcomes closely matching their peers.
