The Dean Close Kingham Hill School are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Chemistry, to join our thriving department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across a range of age groups, including Key Stage 5, while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of science in pupils.
The role includes planning and delivering practical and investigative lessons, supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing, and encouraging pupils to pursue further study and careers in STEM subjects. Applicants should be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, safeguarding, and classroom management, particularly within laboratory settings.
The successful candidate will contribute to the wider life of the School through co-curricular activities, trips, parent engagement, and boarding/day house duties. A willingness to teach general science up to Key Stage 4 and to participate fully in the School community is essential.
